One virtue of going
to war in order to strive in the path of Allah is the Dua of those who
fight in Allah's way when the war
was raging, on approval
by the Almighty.
Evidence for this is the hadith mentioned above:
ثنتان لا تردان أو قلما تردان الدعاء عند النداء وعند البأس حين يلحم بعضهم بعضا
"Dua is not rejected at two times, or at least less likely utterly rejected.
That is when the call to prayer (Adzan) rang out, and the While war, as both sides attacked each other "(Narrated by Abu Dawood, 2540, Ibn Hajar Al Asqalani in Nata-ijul Afkar, 1/369, said:" Hasan Sahih").
